MVP
A software platform for implementing and managing business processes

MVP development for consulting

Support for business process consultants in working with clients.
Goal
The client is a large consulting firm, operating since 1987 in the field of business process optimisation and SAP solution development. As part of its growth strategy, the company plans to expand its consulting services.

Its main clients are small and medium‑sized businesses in sectors such as education, healthcare, manufacturing, and other industries.
Client tasks
1
Ensuring effective collaboration between the client and the business analyst through two‑way interaction in the application.
2
Creating structured deliverables at each stage of consulting to increase value for clients.
3
Transparent visibility of project and process statuses.
4
Ability for clients to independently build process maps.
5
Automation of surveys and generation of business‑process descriptions.
Our solution
During the project, the MVP concept was carefully elaborated, after which the team began developing the UX/UI design. Data analysis was carried out based on a structured questionnaire with questions about the company, its processes, and resources.

The web application works as follows:

  1. The analyst creates a questionnaire in the application.
  2. The client completes the questionnaire.
  3. Based on the responses, the analyst describes the process and creates a BPMN diagram.
  4. The analyst and the client agree on the process within the application (with the ability to leave comments directly on the diagram).
  5. Client‑side stakeholders can view and use the described processes in the application.

As a result, the diagram and process descriptions can be exported. The MVP is integrated with the BPMN.io library for diagram creation. In addition, the following features have been implemented:

  • Modeling and identification of weak points in the processes using diagrams;
  • Generation of detailed process descriptions based on the diagrams;
  • Setup of BPMN file import.
Core platform features:

  • user and permission management;
  • two‑factor authentication;
  • database of companies and processes;
  • business‑process simulator;
  • questionnaire creation module;
  • BPMN process designer;
  • user and administrative portals.
  1. IT design was completed.
  2. UX/UI design was created in accordance with the technical specification.
  3. The MVP was developed.
